Colin Blaze was invited to a costumed murder mystery night held in a penthouse in Mayfair. Blaze arrived to discover that the other guests include the Andipardmin diplomat, two rival warlocks, a visiting space alien, two sets of identical triplets, and a fun-loving ghost. It looked like it might be a fun night even if it seemed Blaze was the only guest in a costume.
And then the murders started.
Colin Blaze is a (possibly private) detective cursed by a witch to have only cases that no right-thinking person would ever believe were real. The witch hoped that Blaze would be discredited and forced to quit. Instead, Blaze is the champion of the bizarre and marginalised oddities of London.
