Writing dare: Exclusively use the numbers 1 to 25 inclusive in order

Can you hide a count up (or down) in your text by including numbers that increase (or decrease) over the narrative segment or chapter?

Some easy cases might include:

• Mentioning the time or date.
• “A table for how many, sir?”
• The number of hours left to some event
• Geographic coordinates
• A house number
• The price of something
• A supprising statistic
• An auction bidding war
• People giving their ages
